Baygitano
Depth 18 - 22m
Location One and a half miles off Lyme Regis. Wreck - One of the all time favourite dives, known by divers everywhere as The Baggy. Loads of life, fish congers etc. An ideal training wreck. Perfect for observing the construction of a WW1 steamship. The LP cylinder is broken open so the 60 inch piston can be seen.No tidal problems . Ideal for RIB divers. ![]() ![]() |

Popped this on to see how it would look. I must admit I do like to see the technical specifications which fit ok in my written format. A sketch of the wreck is great too.Would guess this is the way I would like to present my information then anyone else can continue the thread.

Excellent, I always thought she was Bay Gitano, althought it does look like 4, 6 characters. ?AY? GITANO with eye of faith.

My first ever wreck dive was on this one and dive number 6. Can't remember too much about it to be honest because i spent most of my time inflating and deflating my BCD and staring at my gauges! Must go back sometime and try and actually see it
I've also got a photo, but mine was free ![]() |

Yea,
Just like the Titanic film. Half a model built but digitally made into a whole one. |
