Upsidedown but complete in entire length. A major War Grave.Remains of vehicles,wheels etc.Much military material, ammunition etc.

This is the tank deck,,, were so many young GIs lost their lives on that night in April.

The Guys back in Lyme Bay, on Blue turtle with Dugie. Al Sickley & Big Bill Hicks,
laying a wreath over the wrecks and saying hello to there old shipmates. Al Sickley (on the left) past away just before christmas 2006. Big Bill is alive and kicking,, as he said, after spending 14 hours in the Channel in just shorts and a tee shirt ,those Fu***ng Ger**ns so & sos tried to put me in a box,, then i did 18 runs on D day and after.... then i went home to the states on leave,, then they send me out to Japan gave me some raybans and told me to look at a big mushroom cloud over this jap island.. I think i must have an angel on my shoulder. Big Bill is a wonderful guy. we have had some good nights both in the US and in Devon .. he likes a drink or three, and is a wonderful story teller.

Dont Know if any one is intrested , its the Tiger service this week end down at Slapton. The service is at Stokenham Church just up from Slapton then down at the tank, it all kicks of at 3 0, clock. sunday 29th April. Usual US Navy & UK Tank Corp. also Laurie Bolton is flying in from the US, Laurie is the niece of Sgt Louis Bolton, lost on the Tiger Exercise.
